USS Midway
Two years ago I only had time for this picture, but today I had a chance to properly see the USS Midway (see also here).
It's easy to spend 3-4 hours on the ships various decks listening to the audio-guide. I could have done without the birds hovering over my lunch at the cafe, but otherwise this was an excellent visit!

Anyone know what species this is, and is it supposed to be common in southern Finland?
Shot with my 17-40/4L zoom lens and a 21mm extension tube. Depth of focus is minimal.

With a boat that had been assembled only three days before the event I sailed in the Finnish MicroMagic nationals that were held over the weekend in Tampere. 14 skippers is ok-ish, but with 70 registered boats I had hoped for an even bigger fleet.
