Half-decent on odd controls, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8, Finish. Problems on 2 turning (+3min) the wrong direction, then see-sawing back and forth close to 4 (+6-7min), a large detour to 6 (+6-7min, the straight-line route choice is too hard).

Firmaliiga Haukkalampi, E-baana
Just before #2 I found a wrong control and circled back when just 50m forward was the right thing to do, probably +5 min or so.
Then down from #7 in completely the wrong direction and another +5 min or so.
Firmaliiga Haukkalampi E-baana
Around a 2km walk from the parking-lot to the start and then 2km back again from the finish. OK weather around +10 to +12C maybe.
A decent run on this shorter E-course - in contrast to a mediocre run on the long course last week. Maybe a bit too close to the lake towards #2. The only major mistake was at #5 where I registered one big stone as the wrong one and looked north-east instead of south-west for the control. Also the area around #7 was much flatter than I expected from reading the map. By accident I crossed the forbidden area between #7 and #8 ;(
Firmaliiga Salmi B-baana
Cold around +5C or so with the occasional shower of snow or light hale!
Bad mistake to start off at #1, finding the first control for some other course instead. A bit too low towards #2, then quite safe along roads to #3. A small J-bend to a well-hidden #10. The firmaliiga B-course is maybe a bit too difficult...
Firmaliiga Solvalla
Decent run for a change, 11th out of 60 runners on the E-track. Just past the wrong stone on #1 and a ~2 min loop back. Drifted into the blue swamp a bit on #6->#7 but nothing too bad. Maybe too safe along the path to #9. After climbing the hill I searched right for #12 when it was just to the left.
Light rain and maybe +17C.
Firmaliiga Haukkalampi
Long time no run.
Decent on 1-2-3, then problems on #4, an empty hill that was difficult also last year. Again decent to #5 but then very slow down the hill towards #6 and no good plan for how to find the difficult #6.
Solvalla next week.

Full control but fairly safe along roads and paths. 5 to 6 would have probably been faster to take the road earlier. 6 to 7 instead of ZigZag maybe a loop to the right around the start would have been smarter..
Firmaliiga 5/2015, Salmi
OK to 1, but then a short loop around 2. Long leg along path/road to 5, and really slow down the hill and through the thick area after 6. 8 was in a difficult spot.
40th out of 58 participants - so not so great speed although no major problems with the orienteering.

1: too much zigzag along paths with a big U-turn before the control
2: OK
3: ran past the control, then to the wrong stone (some other course had a control here), and then back to my control
4: OKish but straighter would have been better
5: OK until I was distracted by others just before the control and made a stupid loop before returning to the original plan.
6-7-F: nothing to report..

Ran past #1 to the bigger road. +90s at least.
Too carefully towards #5, also drifting too much east, and then across the road at the wrong place. +2min maybe.
#7-#8 was first steeply downhill, then over the road, and steeply uphill. Didn't hit the right spot on the uphill and this is the worst split by far.
Firmaliiga returns in August with three more events.
